i'm a marketer, executive assisstant and freelancer currently living in chicago. most of my online time is spent in fandom spaces as that's where i feel most at home :>

most of what you will find here is going to be either fandom-related or craft-related as i seem to be incapable of not picking up all the crafts i come across. currently that's mostly knitting and cross-stitch, though book binding is sure to make its way in there this year as well. i write a lot of fic (and this year i'm committed to finishing fic and not just writing it, haha) and do a lot of doodles that will probably show up here as well.

in addition, there's likely going to be posts about life with disabilities and chronic illness. i'm audhd and i deal with chronic pain. that influences... pretty much everything in my life, and thus will inevitably rear it's head here and there.

feel free to friend/subscribe and defriend/unsubscribe as you will! most of the stuff will not be behind a lock.

right now the brainrot is mostly 9-1-1 with dash of dragon age.

i've also got a bunch of fandoms that are always kind of percolating in the background. tolkien's legendarium, mass effect, star wars, dc comics though i'm still mostly pre-n52 with that, the witcher is always around thanks to my lovely kaer morhen people ♥, star trek, stranger things, one piece, and naruto (i know, i know).

fandom permissions

i mostly operate under blanket permissions on the off-chance anyone wants to make any stuff based on my fandom stuff. this is one of the beautiful things about fandom!! so i am completely cool with anyone making podfic, translating my work, creating fanart, writing fic based on my stuff, doing fanbinds, and other transformational works. i only ask that you link to the original and let me know what you've done so i can squee.

however, and i can't believe this is a thing these days, i absolutely do not give permission for any of my fic, art, or craft-related endeavors to be used in conjunction with any AI. don't feed it to your learning models. don't ask for things based off my works. just... don't. i'm lucky enough that no one has asked to do these things with any of my stuff but i have seen it happen to other people and so i feel like being proactive is a good idea, here.

Welcome back to dw! There is nothing quite the same as an online journal. The site is quieter (at least for me) than lj used to be, but that has its pros.
