Challenge #15
Fandom Snowflake Challenge's 2023 Fandom Wrapped!
Your top 5 fandoms for 2023 were — i hyperfocus pretty damn hard on one fandom at a time, so i only have two. stranger things and star wars
Your top 5 fandom spaces (Discord, Twitter, etc.) in 2023 were — discord and tumblr! tho i ended up leaving one server and one fandom entirely, i found some real good star wars spaces and even made a wee repcomm discord server that is giving me all kinds of Ideas
The top 5 things you did to contribute to fandom in 2023 were — uh... wrote some fic, drew some cursed art, participated in the star wars rare pairs exchange, wrote some meta on tumblr about stranger things? does getting someone else into a fandom count as a contribution? because that could be my number five.
Your top 5 most appreciated fandom contributions were — lord idek how to categorize this. i suppose the top "appreciated" in terms of like... how many people saw it was a steddie post from a now-defunct tumblr blog about steve accidentally falling into subspace during a movie night while eddie strokes his hair.
but i'm generally nnnnnot the kind of person who has eyes on their stuff? so idk outside of that :|a talking about my own stuff is Hard

Yes, it does. That's an important way that fandoms grow.

And yes, getting people into a fandom totally counts as a contribution. I'm still low-key proud of the handful of people I got into Black Sails lol.
