Blue/Purple personality. Romanced Lucanis (and Davrin post-game in my head).
A former miscreant who grew up in a small city in the Anderfels, Roisin was given the choice, as a teenager, to face the consequences of her petty crimes in the city or be given to the Wardens. She chose the Wardens. In some ways, it was the first time she felt like she had a home. In others, she was still on the outsides, never quite fitting into Weisshaupt's rank and file.
Needless to say, travelling with Varric and later forming the Veilguard was, weirdly enough, one of the best things to happen to her.
The daughter of a dock worker, Sofia grew up in Kirkwall. She spent most of her childhood running around the streets of Lowtown and Darktown, eventually starting to run messages for the various peoples that did business there. When she ten, she was caught up in all the trouble with the qunari, first with the saar-qamek (which left its scars on her) and then the full on battle. Her family was killed and she no longer wanted to live in the city.
One of the Coterie people she'd run messages for told her that, if she really wanted, Sofia could have a different life elsewhere. Not better, not worse. Just different. Desperate to leave, she agreed without a second thought. A few weeks later, she arrived in Antiva for the first time where she was given over to the Crows as a recruit.
Years later, she sees a face that tickles at her memory, held captive by the Antaam. She doesn't make the connection until later, but something in her tells her that the dwarf is important, and, really, this is the perfect excuse to get back at the bastards occupying her city. She saves Varric and finds herself emabrking on one hell of an adventure.
